Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of UltraCheapWebsites.com and any work you hire us to do. By submitting a quote request or paying for a build, you agree to these Terms. We've kept them as short and readable as we can.
1. Who you're contracting with
"We", "us", and "UltraCheapWebsites" mean UltraCheapWebsites.com, an independently-operated sole proprietorship based in Michigan, USA. "You" means the individual or business hiring us.
2. What we provide
We design and build small custom websites and deploy them to Cloudflare Pages or Cloudflare Workers. The exact scope of each project is described in the relevant tier on our homepage (e.g. "The Hundred", "The Multi-Page", or a custom quote) and confirmed by email before payment.
Every build includes:
- A custom-designed website matching the agreed brief.
- Mobile-responsive design.
- Hosting on Cloudflare (provided by Cloudflare under their terms, not by us).
- One round of revisions before the site goes live.
3. Quote requests are not contracts
Submitting a quote-request form is a non-binding inquiry. We are not obligated to accept any project. We will reply by email confirming whether the project is doable and at what price. A contract is formed only when you receive that confirmation and pay the agreed amount.
4. Payment
Payment is one-time, in advance, via Stripe. We begin work after payment clears. Prices are in USD and exclude any applicable sales or value-added tax, which will be added at checkout where required.
We do not invoice or offer payment plans. We do not charge subscription or maintenance fees.
5. Revisions and post-launch changes
The agreed price covers the initial build plus one round of revisions before launch. After the site is deployed live to your domain, any further changes — content updates, design tweaks, new pages, new features — are billed separately at a per-change or hourly rate. We will always quote each change in writing before performing the work.
Minor typo or factual-error fixes within 48 hours of launch are made free of charge as a courtesy.
6. First-100-customers domain promotion
The first 100 paying customers receive one (1) year of domain-name registration included at no additional charge, subject to the following conditions:
- The desired domain must be available at the time of order.
- The domain must cost $20 USD or less per year from a standard registrar.
- Premium domains, auctioned domains, and domains priced above $20/year are not included. We may, at your request, register such a domain on your behalf at cost.
- You agree that we may register the domain in your name with the registrar of our choosing (typically Cloudflare Registrar).
- Renewal of the domain after year one is your responsibility, paid directly to the registrar.
- The promotion ends when the 100th qualifying customer is reached, at our discretion.
7. Hosting
All sites we build are hosted exclusively on Cloudflare (Pages or Workers). Cloudflare hosting is provided to you free of charge for the lifetime of your project, subject to Cloudflare's own free-tier limits and acceptable use policy. We do not offer hosting on third-party services. If you later choose to move your site elsewhere, we will hand over the source code and help you transfer it (a separate fee may apply for migration work).
8. Your content
You are responsible for supplying any text, images, logos, or other content you want on your site, and for ensuring you have the legal right to use it. We will not knowingly use copyrighted material without permission. You retain ownership of all content you provide.
9. Ownership of the finished site
Upon receipt of full payment, you own the source code of the finished website outright. There is no platform lock-in. We may keep an anonymised reference of the project in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
10. Acceptable use
We will not build sites that:
- Promote illegal activity, violence, or hatred.
- Distribute malware, phishing, or pirated content.
- Engage in sexually explicit material involving minors.
- Violate intellectual-property rights of others.
- Mislead consumers in a way prohibited by applicable consumer-protection law.
If we discover after payment that your project falls into one of these categories, we may refuse to continue and refund you in full.
11. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our separate Refund Policy, which is part of these Terms.
12. Warranties and disclaimer
We will perform our services in a professional and workmanlike manner. Beyond that, the site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to a project shall not exceed the total amount you paid us for that project. In no event shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of content you supplied for use on your site, or out of your use of the site in violation of these Terms or applicable law.
15. Termination
Either party may terminate a project in writing for material breach by the other party. Refunds upon termination are handled per the Refund Policy. Sections 8, 9, 12, 13, 14, and 17 survive termination.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by good-faith negotiation shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
17. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a sale of our business. These Terms (together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy) constitute the entire agreement between us on this subject.
18. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest revision. If we make material changes affecting existing customers, we'll email you and ask for renewed acceptance before continuing work.
